Welcome Adventurers!
This is Universal Dungeon, a service dedicated to making tabletop role play games (TTRPGs) accessible for adults with disabilities.
Universal Dungeon offers adapted versions of your favorite tabletop games, a professional Game Master who will administer a custom game for your party, and affordable materials to make your table more accessible.
Whether you’ve been playing TTRPG’s for years, or have never played at all, come check out Universal Dungeon and let your imagination run free.
We run games on week nights in San Diego County, and we accept Self Determination funding.
Founder & Master of Games : Meet Emily
Hi there, my name is Emily!
I am a Game Master, which means will be running your game. Universal Dungeon games are a combination of my work as a day program instructor, and my experience as a Game Master. I wanted to create a version of my favorite games that adults of all abilities could enjoy. My passion is helping adults with disabilities tell their stories, and unlocking their creativity.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
A Table Top Role Play Game is often played with friends in person. Players act as their characters, just like how actors play a character. Together, the Game Master has them solve problems, and players roll dice to see if they win or lose. Games are often set in fantastical worlds with magic, sword fights, and monsters straight from a storybook.
-
The founder of Universal Dungeon, Emily, decided to combine her hobby of TTRPG’s and her five years of teaching at a day program.
The games are focused on storytelling, creativity, and teamwork. Emily has made changes to popular games so players do not need to read, write, or do math in order to participate.
-
Each game is $50 and lasts 2-3 hours. Players can private pay through Venmo or use Self Determination funds.
For custom tables, workshops, custom character building sessions, and one shots prices may vary.
-
